This placement would suit... Anyone who loves life, the outdoors, isn't afraid of hard work, enjoys being around children and is looking for more from life than the standard 9-5, especially if you are looking to self-finance your Gap Year. PGL Group Leaders are at the heart and soul of the holidays we offer. A PGL concept, ‘Groupies’ look after our guests outside of their structured activity sessions, are full of energy and ensure our guests have the best time possible during their stay. You'll organise your group of guests outside of structured activity time, devise and run an energetic evening entertainment programme and be generally reassuring and inspirational. You will liaise with the visiting party leader, usually a teacher or youth worker, ensuring they are aware of the daily programme so you need to be able to communicate with adults and children alike. Ideally, you will have prior experience of working with children, a sympathetic nature and lots of enthusiasm. Full training will be provided. You must be a UK/EU citizen or hold a valid UK work permit. We are also recruiting for Group Leader/Activity Instructors to work at our centres in the UK and northern France in 2006. ‘We have currently filled all of our Group Leader vacancies for the 2008 season. Please let us know if you would like to sign up for our recruitment e-newsletters to keep updated on any positions that arise during the season'
